Release day is soon!

Beatdown is well on its way to an Alpha release! The developers here at Invocation Station are working tirelessly to prepare it for its debut on April 20th at the Florida Polytechnic University Spring 2024 Game Expo.

Lately, we have been working on improvements to the combat system - particularly the parry mechanic. We want to ensure that the game is fair and fun, and parry is the key to that secret formula.

Additionally, we are tweaking some of the timings within the level to make for fairer combos and less downtime. For example, when you begin a combo it can feel like it goes on for too long sometimes.

Overall, Invocation Station is very proud of Beatdown and we are incredibly excited to present it at the Florida Poly Game Expo!
